Home Health Aide Service: provides assistance with activities of daily living. Our specially trained person helps to maintain a safe environment for the patient, while providing help and support in three essential areas:
Companion Care: home health aides serve as companions and friends to the patients.
Personal Care: assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming.
Light Housekeeping: including errands, meal preparation, laundry and homemaking tasks.
Socialization: supportive and caring companionship.
Dorson Home Care, Inc. stays in compliance with our accrediting body. We are looking forward to providing disease management programs for patients needing post-hospital care. DHC, Inc. also provides clinical nurses for handling wound care, cardiac care, diabetic and pediatric care.

Just recently in 2004, Dorson Vocational Training Institute, specializing in training for the healthcare industry, was created offering programs in such areas as Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Home Health Aid, Medical Billing, English as a Second Language (ESL), etc.
At Dorson Home Care, Inc. our goal is to help you and your loved ones remain at home, living as independently as possible. Whether you need help for just an hour or two, weekly, or on a daily basis, DHC Inc. can immediately provide qualified, dependable staff to you. An individualized program is developed to meet specific needs. During an initial home visit, a Field Nurse Supervisor identifies the needs of the patient and develops a plan of care. The patient, physician and family work in collaboration to implement and maintain this care plan.

DHC, Inc. sought to be voluntarily accredited by the New Jersey Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC). We are particularly attuned to the importance of the patient/home health aide match. We look carefully at the ¿whole patient,¿ to assess those factors that can affect the matching process: the personality of the patient, interests or hobbies, physical limitations and the need for socialization, among others. We strive to ensure the optimal match; Patients who form a bond with their caregiver may demonstrate increased compliance in adapting new behaviors for health and a more positive outlook.

I was recommended to use Dorson and it was the best thing that I have done for my family. I Use the service for my Mother which is getting up there in age and can't handle the simple things without help anymore.They treat her just like she is family which is very important to me.
